Among the Rainbows
This is for the Spirits & Spiritual Beings Art Show at FAE.
This piece was inspired by a vision my sister had of my Mother after her passing...that she was as a young maiden again and among the rainbows...

Happy Autumn...
Autumn Leaves
Autumn leaves are falling,
a splash of color on the ground.
It is a sign to be that
the fair folk will be around.
There are red leaves and there
are gold leaves to make tiny skirts.
There are plenty of fallen leaves
to make tiny shirts.
I see the wee folk come
and gather their share of the loot.
I was walking the other day
and saw a tiny boot.
I put it on a stone
so when the owner came by.
It would be in sight and not buried
in the pile of leaves so high!
I sigh as I walk through the trees
and feel the autumn sun.
It's times like this that I feel
with all creation, we are one.
As the sun sets upon the sky
and the air begins to chill.
I hear faint singing and dancing
on the faery hill.
